Will Walker, At-large Board Member

William “Will” Walker was born in Roanoke, VA but spent his high school years in Alexandria, VA. Will is a US Marine. After serving in the Marines for 4 years, Will worked and went to school full time. Will has worked at Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, AECOM and now Amentum in various roles within Human Resources. Will works in HR and has been in HR for over 20 years.

Will is the Christian half within his family and has been married for over 8 years to Leah, his Jewish half. Will and Leah were married at the courthouse in Rockville, MD, as they did not know about the Interfaith Families Project (IFFP) at the time, which would have helped to assist in an interfaith marriage ceremony. They have two children. Will has been a member of IFFP since 2013. Will is a proud member of the Racial Justice group within IFFP. He is grateful for the IFFP community in assisting his family to know that there are others just like them in the local community! Will is an avid Washington DC Sports fan, enjoys reading (but doesn’t do it much), the arts, and traveling to experience the world!

Will holds a Master of Science in Organizational Development and Knowledge Management from George Mason University and Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
