Director of Operations
Eleanor Irion is a Maryland native whose passion for interfaith engagement began in 2018 while studying at Elon University. There, she helped organize holiday celebrations and Better Together suppers, creating welcoming spaces where students from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds could come together for meaningful dialogue. Through conversations about traditions, holidays, and core beliefs, these gatherings fostered understanding, respect, and a shared sense of community.
Eleanor has always valued education and believes in its power to foster curiosity, understanding, and connection. After graduating, she taught at an elementary school before serving as an administrator at a church in Rockville, where she continued supporting faith communities through her work.
Outside the office, Eleanor finds spiritual renewal in nature. She enjoys birdwatching, hiking, golfing, and playing fetch with her cat.
