Felise joined IFFP in the early 2000s, with her husband Mark and daughters Emma and Carissa. In 2006, they moved from Maryland back to the Philadelphia area to be closer to family. In 2007, they used the IFFP model to create and lead Interfaith Families of Greater Philadelphia. The COVID pandemic gave the Shellenbergers the opportunity to reconnect with IFFP. Felise is passionate about enhancing IFFP’s support of interfaith families regardless of their physical location. She is a strategic planner with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. She holds a Master of Science degree in Technology Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. When not working or volunteering, she loves traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. She joined the board in 2022.
