Michael Garber – Vice Chair

Michael Garber joined the board in 2026. He officially became a member of IFFP in 2025 after taking the Interfaith Couples Workshop the year before with his wife, Emily. He has worked for or with the federal government since 2013. He holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland and completed his undergraduate studies at George Washington University. Michael is on the regional board of ADL and has volunteered with a number of other organizations, including Petey and Furends, Lucky Dog, Humane Rescue Alliance, Interfaith Youth Core, and Seeds of Peace. He and Emily live in Rockville with their one-eyed chihuahua, Polly.
