Women’s Retreat

The women’s retreat committee is busy planning for the retreat on Saturday, May 8th.  We have put together a tentative schedule for a zoom retreat from 10 am to 4 pm, with a morning session based on the theme of “Present over Perfect” led by Rev. Julia and Rabbi Debbie.  In the afternoon we are thinking of having small, 45-50 minute-long breakout sessions that include perhaps, laughing yoga and sessions that will give everyone a chance to socialize in small groups while crafting, cooking lunch, playing games, or having a book/article discussion.  We will then end the day from 3-4 by getting back together for a sharing circle and to bless Rev. Julia on her last retreat with us.  After 4 pm, we are thinking that if people are interested in getting together in person they could either meet to do forest bathing (led by Adria Zeldin) or perhaps get together in small groups, outside and socially distant in people’s backyards.

Since this is a longer retreat than last year, we are sending around a survey to get some feedback before proceeding further.  We are particularly interested if you would join for the whole day or pick and choose sessions and attend for part of the time.  Please feel free to include comments on the survey as these have been very helpful in the past.
Looking forward to getting together with everyone!!
