Jared McGrath proudly serves the IFFP Community as an At-Large Board Member, with a focus on programming for Teen Group and young adults (20s/30s). His parents, Randi Field and Matt McGrath, joined IFFP in 1997 and currently lead the Environmental Working Group. Jared graduated from Coming of Age (COA) in 2002 and returned to teach the talented COA classes of 2017 and 2021.
Jared works as a project manager in design and construction projects. He volunteers with a local high school’s ACE program and provides K-12 tutoring to help students gain confidence in STEM fields. He holds an MS in Environmental Engineering from Georgia Tech and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland. A fan of soccer, music, and the great outdoors, he resides in DC with his better half, Ashley, and their marauding cats, Caspie and Boo.
