Jennifer Loukissas – Board Co-Chair

Jennifer Loukissas and her family joined IFFP in 2017 to be a part of a community of families like hers. Not only half of an interfaith couple herself, Jennifer was raised interfaith, by a Jewish mom and Greek Orthodox dad. She considers herself Jewish and her husband Doug, was raised Catholic. In her day-job, Jennifer is the Communications Chief in the Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics at the National Cancer Institute. Outside of work and family, Jennifer has volunteered with a number of other organizations, including the elementary school PTA, and the national coordinating committee for the Ride to EndAlz, a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association. Her hobbies include gardening, reading, cooking–especially for the many holidays celebrated by her family–exercise, and traveling, particularly to Greece where her dad was from. Jennifer has lived in State College, PA., Houston, TX, Athens, Greece, Philadelphia, PA, New York City, Washington, DC, and Durham, NC. She has degrees from Haverford College and the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University. She lives in Kensington, MD with her husband, Doug, and sons Michael and David.
