Veronica Sholin, her husband (Ryan) and children (Eliana and Gabriel) joined IFFP in 2009. Born in Boston, Veronica grew up in Caracas, Venezuela, and was raised Catholic in a Spanish/Italian household. She has a BS (physics) from the University of New Mexico, a Ph.D. (physics) from the University of California Santa Cruz, and a bookkeeping certificate from Northern Virginia Community College.
Veronica is the Business Operations Manager for NAMI Northern Virginia, a nonprofit providing mental health support and education, and is passionate about helping nonprofits function efficiently. At IFFP, Veronica taught Pre-K 4s for five years, has coordinated Purim booths and camping trips, and helps out with odd jobs when needed. In her free time, she enjoys reading, walking/hiking, dancing, traveling, and watching movies.
