On Tuesday, October 29, we invite you to join us at St. Mark Presbyterian Church in Rockville, MD, for the premiere of a groundbreaking interfaith documentary: “I Will Build this World From Love.” Co-sponsored by the Interfaith Families Project, St. Mark Presbyterian Church, and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington this special event offers a unique opportunity to witness a powerful story of faith, unity, and peace across religions.
The one-hour film follows the journey of a Georgian bishop with a bold vision—to build a “peace cathedral” that houses a church, synagogue, and mosque under one roof. In a world fraught with division and fear, his project challenges the norms, calling for unity and interfaith collaboration. Alongside him are an Israeli rabbi and an American cantor, who work together to guide local women in public Torah reading for the first time in 2,600 years.
After the film, stay with us for a live talkback with the three stars of the documentary, who will be traveling from different parts of the world to share their personal experiences and insights. This is an exclusive chance to engage directly with the individuals behind the story, deepening your understanding of the film’s message of hope and reconciliation.
Refreshments will be provided, and we look forward to sharing this inspiring evening with you.
